Michelle completed her second year as a Level 10 finishing
the season with a strong showing at the 2009 USAG Junior Olympic Nationals.
In
2007, as a
first year Level 9 in 2007, she won All Around at the Wisconsin State
Championship as well as winning Vault and Floor Exercise. At the Regional
Championships, she won Vault and qualified to Western Nationals.
As a first year Level 10 in 2008, Michelle took 2nd.in Vault at
State
with a 9.425 and Qualified to Regionals. At Regionals, she placed 3rd.
All-Around (36.80), 4th on Vault (9.40) and 2nd. on Floor (9.325) and qualified to
Nationals as a first year Level 10.
As a second year Level 10 in 2009, Michelle placed 2nd. on
Vault (9.50), 4th on Floor (9.475) and 3rd. All-Around (36.665) at the Wisconsin State meet. At
Region 4 Championships she placed 1st on Bars (9.125), 2nd on Vault (9.425), 2nd
on Floor (9.40) and 3rd AA which qualified her to the 2009 Junior Olympic
Nationals where she finished with a 37.125 All Around in the Junior D Division.
